1. GoMyRoof's role
GoMyRoof connects travelers, hosts and real-estate advertisers. For stays it supplies search, booking, payment or card-guarantee, evidence and commission-billing tools. The host supplies the accommodation and contracts with the traveler. GoMyRoof does not create or sell package holidays within this scope.
For sale and long-term rental listings, GoMyRoof does not collect the property transaction and does not act as an estate agent or representative.
2. Member status and payment
A host or advertiser declares whether they act as a professional or individual and may be asked for evidence. A displayed status reflects only the stated checks and is not a general guarantee.
An individual host offers on-site payment only. A professional host may offer online Stripe payment or on-site payment with a card guarantee, depending on the listing settings.
3. Listing and ranking
A listing may be published when the member has the required status, completes mandatory fields, complies with law and site rules and is not suspended. GoMyRoof may correct, hide or remove fraudulent, illegal, misleading, unsafe or non-compliant content.
Default ranking favors the most recently published listings, by publication date and then decreasing identifier. Optional sorting may include price or reviews. Destination, dates, guests, property type, budget, characteristics and availability filter results. An incomplete text query may return close matches without geographic completeness.
Stay prices shown after dates may include applicable pricing rules. Without dates, a base or “from” price may be shown. The contractual price is the one shown before confirmation.
4. Paid placement and remuneration
At publication, no sponsored placement changes the default ranking. A paid listing is not ranked higher for that reason alone. Any future paid placement will be visibly identified and its influence explained.
GoMyRoof earns a commission on stay bookings under the host's accepted tariff. It may charge a clearly displayed publication or option fee for real-estate listings. This does not make GoMyRoof the accommodation supplier or a party to the property transaction.
5. Demonstration listings and reviews
A demonstration listing is clearly labeled, is not an available offer, cannot be booked or paid, does not generate verified reviews and is not counted as a real listing in public indicators.
A verified review is linked to a recorded booking or experience. Fraudulent, illegal, abusive, irrelevant or conflicted reviews may be refused or removed. Reviews are not bought or altered to change their meaning.
6. Moderation and reporting
Automated and human checks may be used. Where legally and safely possible, GoMyRoof gives the main reason for a restriction and a way to contest it.
Potentially illegal, dangerous, fraudulent or rights-infringing content may be reported through the contact form or at contact@gomyroof.com, stating the URL, reasons, relevant facts and available evidence.
7. Tax and changes
Each member remains responsible for civil, administrative, social and tax duties. GoMyRoof may collect and transmit information required by DAC7 or other laws; this is not personalized tax advice.
This page is updated if ranking factors, advertising, paid placement or the business model materially changes.
