1. What is a tracker?
A cookie or tracker is information stored or read on a device while a service is used. Some are necessary for a requested feature, session or security. Non-essential analytics or advertising trackers generally require prior consent.
2. Current GoMyRoof setup
At publication, the public-page audit found no active Google Analytics script, Meta pixel or other advertising tool. GoMyRoof mainly uses technical storage or requests necessary for the feature chosen by the user.
If non-exempt analytics, advertising or another optional service is later enabled, it will be blocked before consent. The user will be able to accept all, reject all or customize at the same level and change the choice later.
3. Necessary functions
Necessary storage may support session, language, account security, cart and booking, prevention of duplicate operations, temporary journey choices, requested payment or card guarantee and anti-bot protection. It is not used for behavioral advertising.

A third-party request may transmit IP address, browser, time and requested technical URL. GoMyRoof limits such requests and favors self-hosting where reasonably possible.
5. Analytics and marketing
Google Analytics and Meta are not active in the public setup audited on 28 August 2026. They must not be added without updating this policy and, where required, a consent manager that blocks them before the choice. Refusing optional trackers must not prevent normal site access.
6. Duration and control
Storage lasts only as long as needed for its purpose. A precise inventory must be updated from an actual browser audit whenever a service is added; this policy does not invent cookie names.
As no optional analytics or advertising tracker is currently active, there is no such preference to manage on GoMyRoof. Browser settings can still delete cookies, which may sign the user out, reset language or interrupt an ongoing process. A permanent preference link will be added before any optional tracker is activated.
